Classroom resources

Free, ready to use, and nothing to set up. No accounts, and nothing about your class is saved.

Five-minute warm-ups

Each link opens Teacher Mode with the activity ready. Press Start on the whiteboard; the class answers out loud or on mini whiteboards.

Multiplication activities

  • Clap the pattern

Put a counting pattern on the board (7, 14, ?, 28). The class claps on each number and says the missing one on the beat. Then try Times Tables Rhythm, which plays the pattern back as a riff.

  • Fact of the day

    Pick one tricky fact, such as 7 × 8. Show it as an array, split it into 5 × 8 and 2 × 8, and write the fact family (8 × 7, 56 ÷ 7, 56 ÷ 8). Revisit it in tomorrow's warm-up.

  • Mini whiteboards and Teacher Mode

Run a Teacher Mode round with four choices (A–D). Everyone holds up a letter before you reveal. Mark “class got it” only when most of the room is right; the summary then lists the facts to revisit.

  • Build the class track

In Teacher Mode every three “got it”s add an instrument. Agree a goal (“the full six-part track by Friday”) to reward accuracy, not speed.

  • Turnaround hunt

Give out a worksheet of one table. Pupils circle each fact whose turnaround they already know from another table, then count how few facts are truly new.

  • Beat Builder pairs

Two children share a device: one answers, the other chooses the sounds, then swap each bar. They can save the finished track on that device or download it.

Printable worksheets

One table, mixed tables, division, missing numbers, or adding and subtracting. With answer keys.

Times-table pages

Tricks, patterns and an interactive groups explorer for each table from 2 to 12. Good on the whiteboard.

Teacher Mode in one minute

  1. Open Teacher Mode on the computer connected to the board. Choose a warm-up or your own settings.
  2. Press Full screen (or F). Turn the sound off if the room needs to be quiet; everything still works.
  3. For each question: let the class think, press Reveal answer (Space), then Class got it (Y) or Not yet (N).
  4. At the end, print or copy the summary. It lists the facts to revisit, each with a strategy. Nothing is stored.
  5. Use Copy class link to share exactly the same activity with a colleague or open it on another computer.
