Privacy notice
HipHopMath is designed to be used by children, so it collects as little as possible.
In short
- No accounts, no names, no email addresses.
- No adverts and no third-party tracking or analytics.
- Scores and settings are saved in your own browser, and nowhere else.
- You can clear everything any time.
What is stored in your browser
To remember your progress, HipHopMath uses your browser's local storage (a single entry named hhm.v1). It holds your sound and display settings (volume, mute, beat, tempo, level and similar), your high scores and best streaks for each game, a short list of recent sessions (up to 30), recently practised tables, and a short list of questions you found tricky.
This information never leaves your device and contains no personal details. We do not use cookies. If your browser blocks local storage, the games still work, but your progress is forgotten when you leave.
To clear it, open Settings at the top of any page and choose Reset my progress, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
What our hosting provider sees
The website is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address and browser type, and may keep short-term server logs for security and reliability. We do not add any analytics or advertising on top of this and we do not use this information to identify individual children.
Sound
All music and sound effects are generated in your browser. The site does not use your microphone or camera and never asks for access to them.
Third parties
There are no adverts, social media widgets, chat features or embedded third-party content. Fonts are served from this website.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There is nothing for a child to enter that identifies them.
Changes
If we ever change how data is handled (for example, if accounts or analytics were added), we will update this notice first.
