How to play Times Tables Battle
- Choose one table, several, or all of them. Tap Surprise me for a random mix.
- Pick a level, a beat and how you'd like to answer: tap one of four choices or type the number.
- Every correct answer adds points. A streak of 3 adds hi-hats, 5 brings in a bassline, 10 adds a melody and 15 unlocks the celebration groove.
- If you slip up, the music thins gently rather than stopping, and you'll see how to work out the answer.
- At the end you'll see your score, accuracy, best streak and the questions to practise next.

Frequently asked questions
Which times tables can I practise?
All of the 1 to 12 times tables, one at a time or in any mix you choose.
Do I have to answer on the beat?
No. Getting the maths right is what matters most. Answering close to the beat earns a small bonus of up to 25 points, and you can switch it off in Settings.
Can I play without sound?
Yes. Everything works with the sound off, and the beat is still shown with a visual pulse and the layers that you unlock.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is completely free and there is no sign-up. Your scores are saved only in your own browser.
