How to play Times Tables Rhythm
- Choose one table, several, or all of them. Tap Surprise me for a random mix.
- Some questions are facts like 7 × 8. Others are counting patterns, like 7, 14, ?, 28: fill the gap and the pattern plays back as a little riff.
- Every four right answers bring in another instrument, until the whole track is playing.
- Facts you find tricky come back more often; facts you know well come back less.
- At the end you'll see your score, accuracy and the questions to practise next, with a tip for each.

Frequently asked questions
Which times tables can I practise?
All of the 1 to 12 times tables, one at a time or in any mix you choose.
Do I have to answer on the beat?
No. Getting the maths right is what matters most. Answering close to the beat earns a small bonus of up to 25 points, and you can switch it off in Settings.
Can I play without sound?
Yes. Everything works with the sound off: the track, the beat and every instruction are shown on screen.
What happens when I get one wrong?
You see a way to work it out, often with a picture, and get a second try. The question comes back later in the round too, so you can lock it in. Wrong answers never take points away or remove parts of your track.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
It is completely free and there is no sign-up. Your progress and beats are saved only in your own browser.
